ACE IEDC is excited to announce the launch of Innovators’ Premier League (IPL) at ACE College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.
Innovators’ Premier League is an initiative of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) that aims to bring awareness and sensitization of IEDC & its activities among students, building a competitive & entrepreneurial mindset among innovators, and create the pipeline of startups.
During IPL, students in the institution will compete with each other at the College level, followed by Regional level competitions under three major pillars – Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship. The league competition runs on a point system where institution and students can achieve points through conducting boot camps, workshops, startup generation etc. under various categories.

ACE College of Engineering hosted an IEDC talk series to introduce people to some remarkable innovative entrepreneurs. This time, we had Mr. VIPIN GOPAN, CEO of kinesys tech solutions, to share his astounding story of accomplishment with the public.
101 students of ACE College of Engineering along with Nodal Officer Mr. Nandu Bhadran and Assistant Nodal Officer Ms. Reshma Suresh Babu attended Asia’s largest summit for aspiring student entrepreneurs at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Palai. It was an eye opener for our students, as it gave a wide perspective on entrepreneurship.
ACE College of Engineering has been selected as a nodal centre of the Virtual Labs initiative funded by the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Government of India, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology. It is envisaged as an e-learning platform for practice oriented subject areas in the same lines of NPTEL for classroom courses, aimed at facilitating learning of engineering and sciences through experimentation in a virtual environment at the preferred pace, place and period (time) of the learner.
An internal faculty training programme via online mode for all the faculty and academic staff of our college was conducted on May 25, 2022 at 2:30 pm under the initiative of NITK Surathkal.

ACE College of Engineering, Trivandrum, in association with Techbyheart conducted 2 days workshop on CYBER SECURITY AND ETHICAL HACKING. The workshop was conducted on 24th and 25th of June 2022 at 9.30 am to 3.30 pm by Mr. Dhanoop R., Associate Member at National Cyber Safety Security Standards, Volunteer at National Cyber Defence Research Centre, Cyber Security Analyst at Techbyheart India Pvt Ltd, and Cyber Security Expert at Appin Technology Lab, Kochi(Delhi IT based Cyber Security Institution).
ACE College of Engineering conducted 3 hour workshop on ‘Machine Learning’ on 12th July 2022. The resource person was Mr Ciril C Babu, Ai/MI Engineer, Livewire, Trivandrum.
